Greg Vance
Managing Director and Training Consultant
Greg has been a successful trainer for the past 25 years. He has
successfully managed training units for both public & private sector
organisations, and in 1986 he formed Vance Australia Training.
Greg is an excellent up-front presenter and facilitator with outstanding communication skills.
He has the ability to generate commitment from his audience and is an exceptional
motivator.
Greg's particular areas of interest include Leader Development,
Negotiation Skills, Influencing Skills, Sales Skills and Personal Success
training.
Greg is also the author of four books, Getting Real (a user-friendly
guide to rapid personal development), The Australian
Manager's Guide to Success (Ideas, Tips and Techniques),
Delivering the Goods (developing sales and service excellence),
and Live a Better Life (how to think and achieve
success).

Robert Vander Wall
Director and Training Consultant
Robert is an extremely experienced trainer who also has a strong
administrative and line management background. He managed a large training
function for three years and joined Vance Australia Training in 1989.
Robert is a powerful communicator and motivator.
His ability to quickly "read" a group and then apply the most appropriate
training style and methods ensures that training objectives are met.
Robert's major areas of expertise are in Management and Team Leader
training, Team Development, Project Management and Customer Skills.
He also has a particular interest in personal development, Assertion
Skills and one-to-one management coaching which has achieved excellent results.
Robert has also been responsible for developing our now significant training
projects in Sri Lanka, India, Thailand and Singapore.

Anne Vance
Director and Training Consultant
Anne has been a trainer with both public and private sector organisations.
She has worked as a Direct Marketer, Human Resources Manager and now heads
the research function for Vance Australia Training. She is also responsible for all of Vance Australia Training's administrative functions, heading a small team who produce all of support materials necessary for the successful conduct of our training programs.
As a trainer, Anne has a participative and collaborative training style which has proven particularly effective with smaller groups and with people who are new to training. She specialises in Customer Skills progams (both telephone and face-to-face), Service Excellence and support staff programs, and Interpersonal Skills training.
In addition, she is responsible for developing "distance education"
courses for clients with small staff numbers, or with managers and employees
widely scattered around Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
Anne also provides specialist consultant advice and support for
several of our largest clients, including the organisation of residential programs, accommodation and travel.

Lalith Gunaratne
Director (Asia) and Training Consultant
Lalith Gunaratne is our Director (Asia) and Training Consultant, operating from Sri Lanka and covering Sri Lanka, India and Thailand.
In 1995, Lalith established an international consulting business called LGA Consultants (Pvt) Ltd, working for private sector, non-governmental, government and international institutions such as the World Bank, UNDP among other agencies. Originally with an engineering background and specialising in solar energy, his expertise has grown to include areas such as human resources development, strategic management and marketing, energy policy, financing, renewable energy technologies and general issues related to energy and development.
The consulting business has taken Lalith for assignments, training events, seminars, workshops and conferences all over the world.
He is also a published author of many papers, articles and is recognized internationally. He is the head of the board of directors of the non-profit organization, Energy Forum of Sri Lanka and also serves in the board of the US based Solar Development Foundation.
In 2000, LGA Consultants formed a partnership with us to develop the business in Asia.

Roger Roberts
Senior Training Consultant
Roger has high-level management experience spanning a range of disciplines, including: warehousing and logistics, workforce management, property management, call centre operations, and environmental management. He also successfully held the post of Quality Director in one of Australia's largest and most successful corporations. .
Roger has extensive consulting, facilitation and training experience. His track record in the achievement of significant improvements in business performance and cultural change is outstanding. He led the quality certification for Australia Post NSW/ACT to the international standard ISO9000. This was one of the largest certification projects successfully undertaken in Australia.
Roger's strength lies in his ability to develop quality systems that are value adding, through the realisation of tangible and continual improvement in business performance. Roger has a pragmatic approach to business improvement, recognising the need to develop business improvement strategies that are tailored to suit the specific needs of individual clients.

Mark Holton
Senior Training Consultant
Mark has sixteen years training experience, working with major government
organisations and private institutions specialising in Financial Management,
Accounting, Taxation, and Computing Skills.
In addition to these specialised fields, Mark has had extensive
involvement in Management Development, Team Development and Customer Skills
Training. He has a broad range of expertise, while retaining a particular
affinity with financial management and computing skills.
Mark has an active, participatory training style, and an ability
to make complex or technical information easy to understand, particularly
with groups who have varying levels of knowledge.
